We Are SEAchange
Updated: Jul 20, 2020
The global economy is undergoing a monumental sea change. The reality of an evolving
workforce and re-prioritization of consumer and employee expectations has surfaced.
Organizations that prioritize social, community, and environmental stewardship will propel
themselves into the new economy built on collaborative impact. Those who continue with
business as usual will fall to the wayside.
Research conducted by Gallup in the 2017 State of the American Workplace found that
businesses able to articulate their “why” have a competitive advantage for workforce and
consumer attention. Gallup reports that employees who can link personal goals to the
organization’s goals are 3.5 times more likely to be engaged. Highly engaged businesses realize
a 41% reduction in absenteeism and a 17% increase in productivity. Engaged employees are
more present and productive, attuned to the needs of customers. When taken together, the
behaviors of highly engaged business units result in 21% greater profitability.
Similarly, Firms of Endearment (2015) tracked the performance of purpose-driven organizations
and S&P 500 organizations over a 10-year span. During that period, the growth percentage for
purpose-driven organizations was slightly greater than 20% annualized while S&P 500
organizations experienced annualized growth at a rate of just less than 10%.
Our mission is to empower your organization to not only act passionately, but compassionately.
Prioritizing purpose and impact, helps to catalyze a deeper commitment to all stakeholders,
including shareholders, society, consumers, customers, employees, and the environment. After
all, making a profit is good, but making a profit while doing good is great.
At SEAchange, LTD, we recognize that the path to purpose takes a long-term vision and we are
here to support and partner with your business along its purpose-oriented journey. Together we
can Do Good and Thrive.
