Our Purpose

At SEAchange, we believe that the power of main-street capitalism has the ability to inspire and change the world. We strive to amplify the work of purpose-driven businesses who advance community, environmental, and workforce impact models to achieve strong financial performance. Doing good in the world and thriving economically are inextricably connected, and we are here to help organizations achieve both.

We live by three small words, with one big goal:

Do Good. Thrive.

Do Good. Thrive.

In order to do good, we embrace the belief that our business has a moral obligation to support and advocate for our people, our community, and our world.

We must first ensure that we cause no unnecessary harm.  By being acutely aware of ourselves, our actions, and the impact that we have on the world, we actively challenge ourselves to be conscientious in our pursuits. This intention allows us to mitigate negative impacts and amplify positive impacts of business.

We must be stewards of the lives we touch.

We must be an active community advocate.

We must do our part to protect our planet.

In order to thrive we must embrace the new economic realities.

The global economy is undergoing a monumental seachange.  The reality of an evolving workforce and reprioritization of consumer and employee expectations has surfaced. Talent attraction, retention and development are long-standing national issues. Many studies and initiatives have tried to address the challenges of workforce development nationwide. It is time for business to evolve.

The work being supported by SEAchange is not only rooted in social and environmental wellbeing, but economic vitality, prosperity, and achievement.

Together, we can Do Good. Thrive.

Our model leverages business as a force for good and good as a force for business.  We elevate and embrace a world principled on the notion that what is good for society is also good for business.

At SEAchange, we firmly believe that organizations that prioritize social, community, and environmental stewardship will propel themselves into the new economy built on collaborative impact.  Those who continue with business as usual will fall to the wayside.
